Camp Staff

A dedicated team of professionals ready to help your students learn and have fun. Most of the staff are the MISD Band Directors who already know your students.

Camp Hours

Students will be dropped off daily at 4:30pm and will be picked up at 9pm. On Saturday students will be at camp from 8am to 6pm. Students will perform for their parents and then go swimming at Hawaiian Falls Water Park.

What is Band Camp like?

Students will participate in instrument specific masterclasses, ensembles, full band rehearsals, and team building games and activities. Students will also receive a band camp t-shirt as well as a meal every day.

Student Band Placement

On the first day of camp students will be placed in three bands. Concert music for the week will be distributed on the first evening. You do not need to prepare any music. Please make sure you bring your instrument, band binder, reeds/sticks/oils, and anything else you would normally use in your band class.
